BUS STOP UPGRADES |

Project Overview:
The Cheyenne Transit Program has received funding in the approximate amount of $900,000 from the Federal Transit Administration through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to upgrade and improve numerous bus stops within their existing bus routes in the Cheyenne area. The Cheyenne Transit Program (CTP) has requested assistance from the City of Cheyenne’s Engineering Department to aid in the coordination and to provide oversight of the design and construction of the upgrades. Utilizing a prioritized list of stops with desired upgrades, it will be the responsibility of JR’s team to work with the City of Cheyenne’s Engineering Department, CTP and Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) to develop conceptual plans for the upgrades, field survey the stops identified for upgrades, provide detail engineering documents to be used for construction, identify necessary right of way acquisition, conduct right of way acquisition in accordance with federal estate acquisition statutes, provide necessary environmental clearances and provide construction management.
