JR Engineering was contracted by Shea Homes to design the RidgeGate Southwest Village, a development comprising approximately 1,100 homes on a 700-acre site, which required review and approval by the City of Lone Tree.

 

Infrastructure Construction Oversight

An essential part of the project involved providing construction management services to oversee the construction of all utilities, roadway, and drainage infrastructure to service the single-family detached lots for Shea Homes and Infinity and the single-family attached lots for Lokal and Thrive associated with RidgeGate Southwest Village Filing #1-#3. 

 

Construction Engineering & Contract Administration

Specific tasks included attending pre-construction and progress meetings, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, responding to RFIs, approving pay requests, reviewing change orders and inspection reports, preparing design and field change notifications, performing periodic construction observations, coordinating with the contractor and City, and managing construction closeout services.
