JR Engineering was contracted by the City of Brighton to provide construction management and administration services for the Bridge Street Widening project that spans from 22nd Avenue to 42nd Avenue (over 1 mile) of the Bridge Street arterial roadway corridor.

Infrastructure Construction Oversight

The scope of services included providing construction management services to oversee the construction of all utilities, roadway, drainage, and landscaping infrastructure, along with construction administration services to provide design modifications, answer contract questions, and be a liaison between the City and Contractor.

 

Construction Engineering & Contract Administration

Specific tasks included attending pre-construction and progress meetings, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, responding to RFIs, approving pay requests, reviewing change orders and inspection reports, preparing design and field change notifications, performing periodic construction observations, coordinating with the contractor and City, and managing construction closeout services.
