McKay Shores is a mixed-use development located in north Broomfield, Colorado.  It boasts over nine acres of community open space, walking and biking trails, quaint gathering places and a community pool.  The development includes a mix of residential and a retail center anchored by a grocery store and other retail offerings.  JR Engineering was involved with the residential development. 

The Preserve at McKay Shores was designed for large estate style living.  Toll Brothers ultimately ended up developing the 121 single family luxury estate lots.  The offered product had a mix of multi-story and ranch plans. 

The Enclave at McKay Shores consisted of 109 low-maintenance single family homes.  The lots were split up into two(2) separate Filings which included a neighborhood park and trail corridors.  

JR Engineering provided civil engineering and surveying services for preliminary and final site design. Submittals consisted of plats, grading, utility plans, land suitability reports, final utilities studies, local roadway plan and profile sheets, and drainage reports.  This effort involved coordination with the developer, multiple builders, the City of Broomfield.
