Client Manager - Land Survey (Centennial)


Job Summary:

 

The Survey Client Manager is responsible for assisting in overall business development of the survey department.  The Client Manager identifies client and project opportunities, creates proposals and works with the project team from initial scope through completion.  The Client Manager sets initial project goals and objectives for the project team and assists as needed throughout the project. 

 

 Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Work with Project Managers and Director of Land Survey to assist in Survey department business development.

  • Works with survey leadership team and the Client Managers to track potential opportunities, write proposals, and create marketing materials for the department.

  • Interfaces with client representatives, subcontractors, and other project representatives.

  • Marketing to new and existing clients.

  • RFP, RFQ and other proposal preparation. 

  • Assist project teams in identifying extras and outside of scope items on their projects as they occur, provide information to client and create change orders to capture any potential lost revenue as needed.

  • Maintain integrity-based client relationships. 

  • Collaboration with the Project Accountant on invoicing and collections. 

  • Assist Project Managers in project management as needed. 

  • Understands jurisdictional requirements for land surveying to ensure proper scopes for proposed projects.

  • Meet company performance metrics.

  • Active within professional organizations.

  

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Business development experience.

 

Education/Experience:       

 

  • Licensed Professional Land surveying license (PLS) preferred.

  • At least 5 years of project/client management experience required in a related field.

  

Work Environment:  Normal office environment.  Infrequent visits to field sites and client offices as necessary.  This is not a remote position.  The company feels collaboration is essential and most work is to be performed in the office.

Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $110,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
